When it comes to online shopping failure, we’ve seen so many. But a recent failure, via the international website Shein, really caught us off guard (cough).

A mother recently got the shock of her life when she opened a package containing an item she bought for her young son.

OMG that’s a different kind of snake!

It was a can of peanuts, which are usually sold in the trick-or-treat sections of toy stores. What usually comes out is some kind of giant snake.

Well, they got the ‘snake’ part right. Except this time it was one of the few different type.

“Omg I bought this prank toy for my 7 year old son, I didn’t realize until it arrived today that it had a d&@k on it,” she shared on the Shein Lovers Australia Facebook group.

Fortunately for the mother, the child was not ‘accidentally’ exposed to the X-rated toy.

“Good thing I opened it first before giving it to him! Omg lol it’s one of those cans that opens and a snake or worm comes out, never seen one of these come out haha,” she added.

A very merry Christmas, indeed!

As expected, the Australian mum wasn’t the only one to get the shock of her life.

Almost 500 people took to the comments section – and surprisingly many of them wanted the link so they could buy the same item!

“Omg I have to buy these for my friends,” one person commented.

“Omg I can’t stop laughing,” added another.

Online shopping failure made many people’s day!

“Omg I’ve had the ugliest two weeks and it’s been so hard to smile and this made me laugh! Thanks for the post,” said one.

Another person agreed that the mother was lucky to have found the failure before her young son, saying: “I can imagine her taking him to school for performances and telling him … how much lucky you checked it first.”

“Good thing I opened it first before giving it to him! Omg lol it’s one of those cans that opens and a snake or worm comes out, never seen one of these come out haha,” she added. THEME

And others continued the joke with their own crazy jokes.

“‘Surprise snake’ they weren’t kidding,” laughed one.

“False advertising. They forgot the nuts!!” another joked.

The shopper’s horrifying find in her Shein package

This isn’t the first time Kidspot has reported an unfortunate error in a Shein order.

In September this year, a shopper was horrified after opening her latest order to discover some creepy creatures inside.

In a TikTok clip, she revealed she found three live worms after opening bags sent by the online retailer.

“I can make money now,” she wrote over footage of the creepy crawlies, which are about 5cm long, squirming around on a plate.

In the comments section, she said she “screamed so hard” and she “swears it’s true, I can’t slander her.”

She also vowed never to order from the website again.

Maybe if it was a GIANT worm, things might have been different?
